This jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. This jacket pays homage to the iconic U.S. Navy N-1 Deck Jacket. The pattern construction of this jacket is a reproduction of the dark blue colored N-1 Deck Jacket DEMOTEX-ED version dated 1944 with exacting details. This DEMOTEX-ED version features a higher density and thicker jungle cloth outer shell and more voluminous brown-colored alpaca, wool and cotton blended pile lining for extra warmth and durability as opposed to the N-1 found on any of the other normal version. And this jacket is intended to wear as a Regular-Fit (Not too slim or Not too loose) for a more fashion-forward looks. This outerwear jacket is suitable for fall and winter seasons. This item is new creations by Buzz Rickson by Toyo Enterprises from Japan.

Outer shell : Heavyweight corded-cotton jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) fabric. Made of 100% cotton jungle cloth canvas (cotton grosgrain) to precisely match USN specs that is heavy duty, high density and extremely durable. Grosgrain is a tightly woven, sturdy fabric that has the appearance like a bedford cord on the face of the fabric. This densely woven fabric also has a luxurious matte sheen to it. *This jacket has some white marks/spots/streaks on fabric. This isn't an error. Please note that this is a process to create a vintage feel and look.
Lining shell for body and sleeves : Made with a blend of alpaca, wool and cotton pile fur. 35% alpaca, 40% wool and 25% cotton blended pile brown-hued color fur. The lining of this jacket is constructed of the pile of alpaca and wool on the cotton base fabric. This means that the pile itself is composed of alpaca and wool, not that the pile itself contains in cotton along with alpaca and wool. This lining provides great warmth to the wearer. Suitable for mild or colder winter.
Placket type : The front closes with a zipper. Mil Specs. vintage-style TALON zipper closure with button-front wind flap protector (storm flap) located in front of zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. A leater tab has been attached to zipper pull-tab, making it easy to open and close when riding a motorcycle or wearing gloves (or both). Buttons are Mil Specs Urea.
Cuff type : The sleeve openings are lined with a inset rib to protect from the cold wind. Wool-knit cuffs hidden up inside the sleeve openings. Knit parts : Special Wool Recessed Wristlet.
Storage : Two external single welt slanted hand-warmer pockets on the waist.

It is used to protect the wearer from cold wind. You can also hide a neck strap (a chin strap, a throat tab) with throat tab keeper button underneath collar, when you do not use a throat tab. Gusseted armpit construction with eyelet vents. The underarms have eyelets to let moisture and humidity out. Drawstring cords at jacket inside bottom to adjust the fit and to seal out the wind.

Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
