This modern casual coat is made in Japan and produced by Momotaro Jeans from Japan Blue. Momotaro Jeans's products are introduced Japanese elements into american classic clothing making. This modern casual jacket is inspired by pea coats, but this jacket is outfitted with Momotaro's own detailing and design. This modern coat is a contemporary take on the pea coat. A classic style gets a modern update with a single-breasted, shorter length (hip length). And outer shell of this coat has been modified from melton-wool to cotton bedford cord fabric. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Momotaro Jeans. This outerwear jacket can be worn especially in fall and mild winter seasons. This jacket is new original creations by Momotaro Jeans from Japan.

Fit : This product is Japan size (Asian size), which is about 1 to 2 sizes smaller than USA and EU standard size. The size actually tend to run one to two sizes smaller than most US/EU size, because this jacket originated in Japan. So please choose a size that is at least one size larger than your normal US/EU standard size. For example : If you are usually wearing size US/EU M/38 and if you prefer tight fit, please choose "Tagged size Japan 40 (US/EU M/38)" for this jacket. If you are usually wearing size US/EU M/38 and if you prefer regular fit (Not too slim or Not too loose) or if you plan to wear heavy layers under this jacket, please choose "Tagged size Japan 42(US/EU L/40)" for this jacket. This product is originally intended to wear as a Slender Fit with hip length for a more fashion-forward looks. A sleeker fit has been incorporated in this jacket for those who prefer something more tailored and less bulky or puffy, whereby the armholes have been raised higher, the sleeves more tapered, and the body slimmed down. Fits may vary by style or personal preference.

Fabric : Made of a 100% cotton Japanese bedford cord fabric with a heather, neppy and slubbed texture that is woven with a gray and white yarn for a salt and pepper mottled effect. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear.
Lining shell for body and sleeves : Made with 100% polyester satin diamond quilted lining for the torso and sleeves. The lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.
Interlining (Type of insulation ) : Inside padding. The jacket is filled with 100% polyester fiber filling sandwiched between the outer shell and inner lining to retains heat and protect you from the cold. Suitable for fall and winter seasons. Lightly insulated jacket stay warm but do not like bulky puffer jackets.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Single-breasted 4 buttons on front opening. Buttons are 4 holes urea buttons.
Storage : Two exterior slanted single welted hand-warmer pockets on waist. Hand-warmer pockets are lined with cotton twill fabric.
Collar type : The large-sized notched collar inspired by pea coat.
Cuff type : The two-step adjustable button-tab cuffs let you change the size of the sleeve openings.
