This vertical multitrack broken striped short sleeve button up shirt is made in Japan and produced by Studio D'artisan (Studio Dartisan). Studio D'artisan is a modern denim label established in 2006, based in Kojima, Okayama, Japan, where is the birth place of Japanese domestic jeans. Studio D'artisan's products are introduced Japanese elements into american classic clothing making. The pattern construction of this shirt is modeled after traditional American classic button-down collar shirts, but this short sleeve shirt is outfitted with the original details of Studio D'artisan's brand in a contemporary approach with a modernize fit. With the inspiration from classic shirts with a button-down collar, this Studio D'artisan shirt has been re-designed with traditional Japanese weaving pattern milled in Japan for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Studio D'artisan. Made of 100% cotton mediumweight Japanese SHIJIRA weaving indigo dobby fabric with KASURI striped pattern which gives the shirt a traditional Japanese textile effect. Fabric : Made of 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, mediumweight SHIJIRA KASURI fabric. This fabric is woven on specialized dobby looms to recreate traditional Japanese SHIJIRA KASURI fabric. SHIJIRA KASURI yarn is a yarn containing varying thicknesses and uneven indigo dyeing. The fabric of this shirt is woven in indigo dyed SHIJIRA KASURI yarn. And the difference in the number of warp and weft yarns and the difference in tension create a crinkle in the shirt. As a result , this fabric has a distinctive crinkled, crepe-like texture. The texture, similar to seersucker, does not stick to the skin in Japan's hot, humid summers, and the openness of the weave allows for good airflow. Also this shirt has a unique fabric with a nice broken stripes. To interlace indigo-dyed yarns and the undyed areas creates an uneven and irregular white vertical broken striped weaving pattern on the surface of the indigo base fabric. This SHIJIRA KASURI weaving process is provides a traditional Japanese weaving look. This fabric has a distinctive slubby and neppy texture. And this shirt is washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the fabric will develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. And the more you wear, the more fabric will fade beautifully.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure). The buttons are brown mother of pearl buttons with vertical button holes.
Collar Type : Button-down collar.
Bottom hem type : Straight Hem (Square cut bottom Hem).
Pocket : A patch pocket on left side chest. Pocket openings are reinforced with V-shaped folded edge.
Yoke type : Straight back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
Back of the shirt : Center box pleats are placed just below the yoke for more comfortable movement.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
