Fabric : Made from 100% cotton, this non-stretch, unlined, medium-weight "Wabash Stripe" twill fabric. Wabash Stripe fabric is a historically significant and distinctive textile recognized for its indigo-dyed base with white dotted stripe patterns, originating from American workwear popular among railroad workers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The fabric of this hat is crafted from 100% cotton, forming a medium-weight, single-ply, 10 oz twill that balances durability with natural softness for comfort. The unique pattern of fine bleached dots creates a repetitive and striking appearance. Known for its robustness and aesthetic appeal, Wabash Stripe fabric is highly valued in vintage workwear circles, particularly because it beautifully fades over time, enhancing its character with wear. This fabric's enduring appeal lies in its combination of functionality, distinctive style, and the deep cultural heritage it represents. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully. No lining, can be worn year-round.
