This men's casual long-sleeve plaid button-up shirt is made in Japan by Sugar Cane, a workwear brand under Toyo Enterprises. Drawing inspiration from vintage work shirts of the 1950s to 1960s, it is made from 100% cotton twill weave plaid fabric. The shirt combines a timeless design, classic details, and newly developed fabric by Sugar Cane, making it perfect for casual wear. The fabric is medium-weight, non-stretch, and offers a durable yet soft feel with a slightly brushed surface (minimal brushing). The plaid pattern is achieved by weaving two color yarns in the warp and two color yarns in the weft, creating a classic plaid design. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and comfortable texture. It features a front button closure, regular collar with a collar band, single-button cuffs with cuff slits, set-in sleeves, two chest patch pockets with button closure (no flaps), a slightly curved back yoke, a rounded shirttail with side gussets, and double twisted threads-runnoff that extend and hang from the side seams on the hem. This shirt is available in US/EU sizes, offering a comfortable regular fit that is neither too slim nor too loose. It is versatile enough to wear on its own or as a layering piece under a jacket. This shirt is a new, original creation by Sugar Cane, blending classic workwear style with the aesthetics of a timeless plaid pattern.

Additionally, as part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and give it a slightly faded look.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : A classic full-button closure along the front, secured with six urea dish buttons. The front placket includes vertical buttonholes.
Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand (collar band) for crisper appearance.
Bottom hem type : Rounded shirttails with side gussets. Curved hem (shirt tail). Side gussets on the hem, and double twisted threads-runnoff that extend and hang from the side seams on the hem. A gusset is a piece of fabric which adds durability to a section of a garment. For this shirt, gussets are seen at the point where the side seams meet the hem. The chainstitch runoff extending (double twisted threads which hang from the side seam on hem). This detail can be seen on rare vintage shirts as well as modern reproductions.
Pocket : Classically-styled two chest patch pockets with button closure(no flaps).
Yoke type : Slightly curved back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at stress points.
Back of the Shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
