These trousers feature a button-fly closure and seven exterior pockets for maximum functionality. They include two front hand pockets, two expandable cargo pockets at the back - each with a flap secured by two urea buttons - one expandable cargo pocket with a two-button flap on the right leg, another on the left leg, and a smaller expandable cargo pocket with a single-button flap also on the left leg. Additional details include seven belt loops and a two-button side adjustment tab at the waistband, allowing for a customized fit. In the 1960s, the U.S. military stationed in Japan decided to source their camouflage uniforms locally. This choice was influenced by Japan’s cutting-edge printing technology, fast production capabilities, and cost efficiency. The designs were left to the discretion of individual factories across Japan, leading to countless unique variations of the tiger stripe pattern. These cargo pants are a reproduction of one of those diverse variations.
Fabric and Construction
These cargo pants are made from 100% cotton, ensuring both durability and comfort. The non-stretch twill weave is designed to endure daily wear while maintaining a comfortable feel. The fabric features a bold Tiger Stripe Camouflage pattern, a signature of vintage military style. For added comfort and to minimize shrinkage, the garment goes through a pre-wash (or one-wash) finishing process, resulting in a soft yet sturdy texture.
