This blanket lined cotton jacket in light-olive-drab color is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this jacket is a reproduction of the US Army WW2 Jacket, Combat, Winter 1st pattern Tanker Jacket dated 10th February 1941 (Tank Jacket, Tankers Jacket). This jacket combines all those historical characteristics and details with a modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The fabric of this jacket is made up of 2 layers. This jacket is constructed from a cotton-twill outer shell in light olive drab color with 26 Oz. blanket-wool lining. And this tank jacket features center-set frontal zip closure with storm flap located behind zipper closure, two-ply wool-knit collar/cuffs/waistband in olive drab color, bi-swing action back and two exterior patch pockets. The 1941 1st pattern jackets had patch pockets, this was revised to slash pockets (hand warmer) for the 1942 2nd pattern. This product is USA and EU standard size. And this jacket originally intended to wear as a classic boxy fit (a roomy fit in the chest area with short in the body length) which give you a extra room for a variety of layers with light layers such as T-shirts to heavy layers such as hoodies or sweatshirts underneath for a comfort silhouette and the vintage fashionable feel and for a more old-fashioned look. This outerwear jacket is suitable for fall or winter. This military jacket is new original creations by Buzz Rickson from Toyo Enterprises.

Outer shell fabric : 100% cotton cavalry twill fabric (cotton poplin, west point twill) with the grain of the fabric running diagonally. Non-stretch, high density, tightly woven, durable twill fabric. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort.
Lining : Inner lining in the body and sleeves is made of 100% Wool 26 Oz. blanket. This lining provides great warmth to the wearer. 26 oz blanket lined jacket stay warm but do not like bulky puffer jackets. Great for wearing mid-season or even in the winter with under layering.
Interlining (Type of insulation ) : unfilled, unpadded non-padded. No fill, No inside padding.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Front zip closure. The front closes with a zipper. Vintage-style brass CONMATIC zipper closure with wind flap protector (storm flap) located behind zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front.
Cuff type : The two-ply wool knit rib cuffs with the narrow weave graduating into the wider weave at top.
Back of the jacket : Bi-swing back is a vertical pleat at either side of the back to allow for ease of movement and comfort.
Storage : Two external open-top patch pockets.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
