Inspired by the classic 1953 Type II Jacket design, this jacket is characterized by their 15.7-ounce deep indigo denim woven with Zimbabwe-grown cotton, known for its high-quality long-staple fibers. This jacket is crafted from non-stretch, 15.7-ounce Japanese selvedge denim in a deep blue indigo color. The fabric is woven with rope-dyed indigo yarns for the warp and undyed yarns for the weft, using high-quality Zimbabwean cotton known for its long-staple fibers. The denim features a sanforized, unsinged, right-hand twill construction and is made without an anti-twist process. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and enhance comfort. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will develop more visible hairy fibers, and the sleeve and side seams will naturally skew along the direction of the twill line, giving the jacket an old-fashioned look reminiscent of vintage denim jackets. The denim features a sanforized, unsinged, right-hand twill construction and is made without an anti-twist process. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and enhance comfort. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will have more hairy fibers and the sleeve and side seams will naturally skew in the direction of the twill line for old-fashioned look as vintage jeans. The white and pink selvedge details are featured on the inside of the placket. A cowhide leather patch is placed on the inside of the neck. Indigo yarn of this denim is dyed using the rope-dyeing technique. The outside of the yarn, which is repeatedly dyed using the indigo rope-dyeing technique, is dyed a deep indigo color, while the core of yarn does not absorb much dye and remains white. And the outside of indigo colored yarn fades through repeated wear and washing and the white core of yarn becomes more prominent. As a result, the high contrast between the faded blue and the white core gives a classic worn-in denim look. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.
Lining and Insulation: Unlined, single-ply construction with no fill or inside padding, making it ideal for year-round wear, particularly in spring and fall.

The dye may transfer to other items during washing, so we recommend washing separately. To prevent color fading, especially in areas prone to rubbing, turn the garment inside out before washing. Avoid scrubbing and let it air dry naturally. Repeated washing will gradually stabilize the color fading.
・ Be mindful of water and sweat
Exposure to moisture from sweat or rain can cause color transfer. If the fabric becomes damp, color fading and transfer are more likely to occur.
・ Avoid yellowing from sunlight
