This 1950s-style button-up shirt, crafted in Japan by Toyo Enterprises, is produced under license from the Star of Hollywood brand name in the USA. Originally an American shirt brand from the 1950s, Star of Hollywood has since ceased operations. However, Toyo Enterprises in Japan has revived the brand, even replicating the original label design. This shirt's graphic is a reprint of the Star of Hollywood's condor pattern, but the original Star of Hollywood shirts from that time were pullovers. This item is an updated version that has been modified from a pullover to a full button-front closure style. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Toyo Enterprises. Made of 100% cotton lightweight typewriter cloth, a fabric characterized by its dense weave, fine and slightly crisp texture with subtle sheen, and a smooth, comfortable feel. And It has a casual, wrinkled appearance. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a fashionable vintage look and appearance. And this shirt features a front button closure with vintage-style self shank buttons, 1950s style spread loop collar, short-sleeves, a matched open-top patch pocket, and a straight hemline. This shirt is offered in US/EU sizes and has a square silhouette that provides a relaxed fit, with a shorter length. It offers a generous fit around the torso, creating a comfortable and roomy feel, while the shorter length gives it a cropped appearance. This shirt is not designed to be worn slim or tucked in. Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 5 buttons on front opening including loop top button. Full-button closure (Front placket). Vintage-style self shank buttons with horizontal button holes. Only the top button is a 2-hole mother of pearl button.
Collar Type : 1950s style spread loop collar ( Camp collar, Notched collar, Resort collar, Open collar ). This shirt has a top button that fastens with a loop at the collar.
Bottom hem type : Straight Hem (Square cut bottom Hem).
Pocket : Matched open-top patch pocket on left chest, allowing for a seamless image. Creating matched pockets requires the use of more fabric and more precise cutting and sewing.
Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
Back of the Shirt : Side pleated back vents to allow for maximum movement and comfort. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
