This detachable hood hip-length puffer jacket is produced by Japanese casualwear brand EDWIN under a license from the American Alpha Industries and made in China. The pattern construction of this jacket is designed and inspired by USAF N-3B snorkel parka (N-3B Flying Jacket N3B Flight Jacket), but this nylon padded jacket is outfitted with the original details of Alpha Industries brand in a contemporary approach with a modernize fit. With the inspiration from the iconic N3B parka, this winter jacket has been re-designed for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The original long length has been replaced by a shorter length (hip-length). And this modern jacket features lightweight warm thermolite insulation and ribbed collar and sleeves to ensure additional warmth. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Alpha Industries. This parka jacket is made for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. Lining shell : 100% polyester quilted lining. The lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.
Interlining (Type of insulation) : Inside thermoLite padding. 100% polyester fiber fill sandwiched between the outer shell and lining shell. Suitable for fall and winter seasons.
Hood type : The hood is detachable from the jacket for a different look. You can either wear it hooded jacket, or hoodless jacket.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure with storm flap protectors (wind flap protectors). Storm flap protectors (wind flap protectors) located both behind and in front of zipper closure. This jacket has an internal storm flap protector (wind flap protector) located behind of zipper closure, and then the zipper closure is covered with an external storm flap panel located in front of zipper closure that fastens with snap-buttons across the zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. The zipper runs up to the collar to provide added protection to the neck from the cold. Nylon pull tab on zip-slider designed for easy functioning with gloves.
Storage : Two exterior 2 snap-down-closure upper-set hand-warmer pockets lined with brushed tricot fabric. Two exterior snap-down-closure lower-set flap pockets. One exterior zippered cigarette pocket outfitted with four pen/pencil slots (utility pocket) on left sleeve with signature red "Remove Before Flight" flag. One interior open-top patch pocket.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
