This plain cotton jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this jacket is inspired by the iconic A-2 Flight Jacket ( U.S. Army Air Force USAAF The Type A-2 Bomber Jacket, Flying Jacket) worn by aviators during World War 2 with classic design, but this jacket has been re-designed with the Buzz Rickson's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. This jacket is a modified version of type A2 leather flight jacket for those who want the look of the original, and this jacket has replaced the leather with a cotton fabric for more casual purposes. The original genuine horsehide leather shell has been replaced by corded-cotton(jungle cloth/cotton grosgrain)). The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Buzz Rickson. The fabric of this jacket is made up of 2 layers. This jacket is constructed from a corded-cotton jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) outer shell with lightweight cotton broadcloth lining. And this jacket features center-set frontal zip closure with storm flap, shirt-style turn-down point collar without a collar band, wool rib knit cuffs and waistband in olive and brown mixed color. And this cotton A-2 jacket is cut to regular-fit (Not too slim or Not too loose) with short in the body length for a more fashion-forward looks. This jacket is new original creations by Buzz Rickson.

Outer shell : Made of 100% cotton heavyweight corded-cotton jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) fabric that is heavy duty, high density and extremely durable. Grosgrain is a tightly woven fabric with the grain of the twill line running vertically on the face of the fabric like a bedford cord. This densely woven fabric also has a luxurious matte subtle luster to it. In addition, the fabric of this jacket is processed to recreate the look of faded and dull-hued for a fashionable vintage feel. Also it has a vintage appearance due to the light puckering of the stitching. *This jacket has some white marks/spots/streaks on fabric. This isn't an error. Please note that this is a process to create a vintage feel and look.
Lining shell : Made of 100% cotton thin, lightweigt, density and tightness weave broadcloth fabric. This lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.
Type of insulation : No inside padding. No fill.
Placket type : Front zipper closure from TALON with storm flap located in front of zipper closure. The zipper is covered with a storm flap. Storm flap prevents the wind from slipping through the front. Leather pull tab on zipper for easy functioning with gloves.
Storage : Two flap pockets with hidden snap buttons on the lower front section of the jacket.
Collar : Collar : Shirt-style turn-down point collar without a collar band. Ball-and-socket-style hidden press studs located on the backside of collar ends. Metal collar clip to fasten around the neck.
Cuff type : The two-ply wool knit rib cuffs in olive and brown mixed color with the narrow weave graduating into the wider weave at top.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
