This jacket is designed and inspired by an iconic the Levi's Vintage Clothing 1953 Type II (Type 2) Jackets, but this item is outfitted with the original details of Momotaro Jeans's brand in a contemporary approach with a modernize fit. With the inspiration from classic jackets, this item has been re-designed with japanese sashiko fabric for a more casual look and fashion purpose. This base fabric is woven with indigo color cotton fiber in warp and weft yarn, and then has been running-stitched with tonal thread on base fabric. Sashiko (little stabs or little pierce), a Japanese traditional running stitch technique, is originally used to reinforce fabric, but was also highly valued for its decorative beauty. Sashiko fabric is known for its unmatched durability, and is widely used in protective gear for Judo, Kendo, and Aikido arts. This fabric has an uneven surface and ruggedly texture from cotton fibers. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. And this jacket is washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the fabric will develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. And the more you wear, the more sahiko fabric will fade beautifully. Suitable for spring or fall.
Placket type : 5 buttons on front opening. The front buttons are made of antiqued black coated metal buttons that have been processed to look like the paint has peeled off in places for the fashionable vintage feel.
Storage : This jacket has two exterior pockets. Two external patch pockets on the lower front section of the jacket. And the upper pocket corners are riveted for extra strength.
Cuff type : Single button cuff. Cuff slit with bartack stitch reinforcement.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
