This denim jacket is made in Japan and produced by Samurai Jeans. Samurai Jeans is a modern denim label established in 1998 based in Osaka, Japan. Samurai Jeans's products are introduced Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary elements into american classic clothing making. The pattern construction of this jean jacket is inspired by the iconic levi's vintage clothing first edition type I jackets during world war II with classic design, but this denim trucker jacket has been re-designed with the Samurai Jeans's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look, fashion purpose and modern styles. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Samurai Jeans. During World War II, the US federal government controlled the conservation of raw materials. And the design of jacket was changed to save fabric and metal during wartime. This jacket has historic details such as WWII regulated version with 4 front buttons (normally 5), single chest pocket without pocket flap and button, exposed copper rivet. The fabric of this jacket is made of a 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, pre-washed 25 Oz. super heavyweight Japanese selvage denim. This product is made for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. This denim jacket deliver the perfect combination of durability and natural softness for comfort. Selvedge details can be seen along the interior placket and inside of pocket. This jacket is washed once. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. This light piece of outerwear is unlined and can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. And the denim will develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.
Placket type : 4 buttons on front opening. The buttons are iron buttons with a Japanese pine tree engraved.
Storage : Single chest pocket without flap and button at wearer's left. A exposed copper rivet on the upper pocket corners for reinforcement. The inside of chest pocket is lined with cotton Jacquard fabric. Pocket bag have an original Jacquard pattern interwoven with Kanji by thin beige threads which means "All Things Change" in English.
Collar : Shirt-style turn-down point collar.
Cuff type : Single button cuff with sleeve placket. Cuff slit with riveted reinforcement let you take the jacket off and put it on easily.
Yoke type : Straight back yoke.
Back of the jacket : Side pleated back vents to allow for maximum movement and comfort. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
