Studio d'artisan is a modern denim label established in 2006, based in kojima, okayama, japan, where is the birth place of Japanese domestic jeans. Studio D'artisan's products are introduced Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary elements into american classic clothing making. The pattern construction of this black button up shirt is modeled after vintage western shirts with cowboy design, but this long sleeve shirt in black has been re-designed with the Studio D'artisan's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Studio D'artisan. Made from 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, non-stretch 8 Oz. medium weight twill fabric black dye. The fabric of this shirt has been dyed in black repeatedly with the traditional Japanese Kyoto dyeing technique to recreate deep shade of black that have been inherited from ancient Japan. This process gives the shirt a deep black color like traditional Japanese kimono (formal men's black kimono-Kuro-montsuki) )style and look. And this black western shirt features a front closure with six western-styled circle snap buttons with rims, turn-down point collar, western-wear front and back yokes, twin chest pockets with snap bunnton closure, triple snap cuffs and curved shirttail hem. Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
