This fabric is woven on specialized jacquard looms to recreate traditional Japanese sashiko fabric. Sashiko (little stabs or little pierce) is originally a type of traditional Japanese embroidery or stitching used for the functional reinforcement of clothing and fabric, but was also highly valued for its decorative beauty. Sashiko fabric is known for its unmatched durability, and is widely used in protective gear for Judo, Kendo, and Aikido arts. For this shirt, the base fabric is woven with indigo-dyed yarn, and then diamond shape pattern has been running-stitched with white color thread on the indigo base fabric. The warp and weft yarns of the base fabric are dyed using the traditional Japanese indigo dyeing technique called kase-dyeing (hand-dyeing), which gives the shirt a traditional Japanese textile. In kase-dyeing, craftsmen carefully dye the yarn with indigo little by little over and over again, so the yarn is dyed more thoroughly to the core than in the rope-dyeing technique. This process gives the fabric richer and deeper and pure Japan blue shade. This fabric has an uneven surface and ruggedly texture from cotton fibers. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. And this shirt is washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the more you wear, the more indigo fabric will fade beautifully.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
