These modern Japanese denim jeans are crafted in Japan by Samurai Jeans, a contemporary denim label established in 1998 and based in Osaka, Japan. Samurai Jeans integrates Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary elements into classic American clothing design. The pattern of these jeans is modeled after American vintage styles but has been redesigned with Samurai Jeans' unique detailing, contemporary interpretation, and a modernized fit for a more casual and fashionable look. The beauty of these jeans lies in the balance of classic construction with modern updates from Samurai Jeans. Made from 100% cotton, non-stretch, 17-ounce heavy-weight Japanese selvage denim in deep blue indigo, the fabric is woven with rope-dyed indigo yarns in the warp and natural yarns in the weft. It features an unsinged left-hand twill construction without an anti-twist process. It is a rugged denim with a heathered, neppy, and slubby texture. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a comfortable texture. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will develop more hairy fibers, and the leg will naturally skew in the direction of the twill line, giving an old-fashioned look similar to vintage jeans. These modern jeans are designed with a stylish regular fit, button fly, authentic mid rise, straight to the leg opening (slightly tapering down to the Leg Opening) and classic five-pocket design. The silhouette features a regular straight fit. It has a mid-rise, which is considered a standard rise. This denim is woven with slab yarn. This results in a unique fabric with a nice irregular and uneven texture to jeans. It is high density and extremely durable. The rugged denim has a heather, neppy and slubbed surface. Selvedged denim with Japanese sword style glitter silver color line selvedge details ID. The selvedge details can be seen along the interior outseam and inside coin pocket opening. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a comfortable texture. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will develop more hairy fibers, and the leg will naturally skew in the direction of the twill line, giving an old-fashioned look similar to vintage jeans. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.

Button type : Front buttons are iron buttons with a Samurai Jeans logo engraved.
Other details : Cinch back (clincher) with a buckle located center back of the waistband to adjust the fit around the waist. Exposed copper rivets and copper-pronged cinch back at back, allowing the wearer to adjust the waist size of the jeans to some extent. Five belt loops for better support of your belt. Samurai Jeans original Japanese Samurai Sasaki Kojiro design leather patch on back-right-side waistband. The rivets are made of copper.
