This short-sleeved button-up shirt is part of Sun Surf's Hawaiian-inspired clothing line. Crafted in Japan by Sun Surf, a Hawaiian shirt brand under Toyo Enterprises, this item is modeled after traditional Hawaiian (Aloha) shirts. It's made from a heavy-weight hopsack fabric blend of 70% cotton and 30% linen and is adorned with an all-over print. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a fashionable vintage look and appearance. The graphic print pays tribute to the character Uncle Torys, created by Japanese advertising designer Ryohei Yanagihara for the 1961 "Let's Go to Hawaii" campaign. The shirt's design, named "Let's Go to Hawaii," is the work of Mookie Sato, the only artist authorized to officially adapt Ryohei Yanagihara's designs. Mookie Sato, an illustrator deeply influenced by Ryohei Yanagihara, has been heavily involved in Sun Surf projects. This Hawaiian shirt reflects a new interpretation of Uncle Torys and Yanagihara's world, offering a fresh take on vintage style. This shirt is offered in US/EU sizes and has a square silhouette that provides a relaxed fit, with a shorter length. It offers a generous fit around the torso, creating a comfortable and roomy feel, while the shorter length gives it a cropped appearance. The resort-style comfortable fit and breathable fabric help you stay cool even in hot weather. This shirt is not designed to be worn slim or tucked in. Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Front button closure. 5 buttons on front opening including a loop top button. Full button closure (Front placket, Front button closure).
Buttons : The buttons are coconut buttons with horizontal button holes. Only the top button is a 4-hole mother of pearl button. This shirt has a top button that fastens with a loop at the collar.
Collar Type : Resort collar ( Hawaiian loop collar, Camp collar, Notched collar, Open collar ).
Bottom hem type : Straight hemline ( Square cut bottom Hem ).
Pocket : Matched open-top patch pocket on left side chest, allowing for a seamless image. Creating matched pockets requires the use of more fabric and more precise cutting and sewing.
Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
Back of the Shirt : Side pleated back vents to allow for maximum movement and comfort. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort.
Pattern Type : This shirt has been applied all-over printing, using discharge printing technique. Discharge printing is a technique where the fabric is first dyed a base color, and then the areas for the pattern are treated with a discharge agent to remove the dye while simultaneously applying a different color. As a result, the print has a natural and soft feel.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
