This herringbone twill jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this jacket is a reproduction of iconic U.S. Marine Corps M-1944 herringbone twill uniform coat during the WW2 used for work duties by US Navy sailors in moderate weather. This P1944 HBT Utility Uniform Jacket combines all those historical characteristics and details with a modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The fabric of this P-44 shirt jacket is made of a 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, 8.2 Oz. mediumweight one-washed herringbone twill (HBT). And this USMC P44 HBT jacket features a front closure with six metal buttons engraved "U.S. MARINE CORPS", internal gas flap located behind front button closure, three pockets and adjustable buttoned cuff. This product is US and EU size. And this P-1944 HBT jacket is originally intended to wear as a regular fit (Not too slim or Not too loose) for a more fashion-forward looks. This lightweight outerwear piece can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. This military coat is new original creations by Buzz Rickson from Toyo Enterprises.

Fabric Type : The pattern construction of this jacket is a reproduction of iconic U.S. Marine Corps M-1944 herringbone twill uniform coat during the WW2 used for work duties by US Navy sailors in moderate weather. Made of 100% cotton 8.2 Oz. one washed, unlined, single-ply, mediumweight herringbone twill (HBT) in olive drab milled in Japan. Herringbone twill is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. The jacket is washed once for fade and the fashionable vintage feel. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. This lightweight outerwear piece can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall seasons.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening featuring black coat USMC metal buttons. This jacket has an internal gas flap secured with internal buttons designed to protect the wearer from blister or vesicant gas agents located behind front button closure. Gas flap under front buttons has been stitched to the left side of Jacket's inside. Also, inner button on right side.
Collar type : Shirt-style turn-down point collar. The USMC P44 HBT jacket has hidden 2 buttons under the collar located back neck to attach a chemical hood. *Hood not included.
Storage : The Jacket has three pockets. Two exterior large side-entry slash pockets that opened vertically, parallel to the front opening in the center to carry anything from ammunition to rations. One exterior flap pocket with button on left breast position. The chest pocket has a pen-slot. Printed black USMC EGA insignia on left side chest pocket. The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor is the official emblem and insignia of the United States Marine Corps.
Cuff type : Sleeve openings has a button and two button holes, and you can also adjust them with the attached button.

Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
