This N-1 deck jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The construction pattern of this jacket is a reproduction of the iconic U.S. Navy khaki colored N-1 Deck Jacket DEMOTEX-ED version dated 1945 with exacting details. The fabric of this jacket is made up of 2 layers. This N1 jacket is constructed from a heavy-duty corded-cotton jungle cloth duck canvas (cotton grosgrain) outer shell with a blend of alpaca and wool pile fur lining in body and sleeves for added warmth. This DEMOTEX-ED version has a higher density and thicker jungle cloth outer shell and more voluminous grayish colored alpaca and wool blended pile lining for extra warmth and durability as opposed to the N-1 found on any of the other normal version. And this Buzz Rickson N-1 deck jacket features a front zipper closure with button-front wind flap protector, alpaca and wool pile fur collar, two external single welt slanted hand-warmer pockets, wool-knit cuffs hidden up inside the sleeve openings, drawstring cords at jacket inside bottom and U.S.N. stencil at the left side chest. Outer shell : Heavyweight corded-cotton jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) fabric in khaki color. Made of 100% cotton jungle cloth duck canvas (cotton grosgrain) that is heavy duty, high density and extremely durable. Grosgrain is a tightly woven fabric with the grain of the twill line running vertically on the face of the fabric like a bedford cord. This densely woven fabric also has a luxurious matte subtle luster to it. In addition, the fabric of this jacket is processed to recreate the look of faded and dull-hued for a fashionable vintage feel. *This jacket has some white marks/spots/streaks on fabric. This isn't an error. Please note that this is a process to create a vintage feel and look.
Lining shell for body and sleeves : Made with a blend of alpaca and wool pile fur. 50% alpaca and 50% wool blended pile grayish-hued color fur lining. This lining provides great warmth to the wearer. Suitable for fall and winter seasons.
Placket type : Front zipper closure. The front closes with a zipper. Mil Specs. vintage-style TALON zipper closure with button-front wind flap protector (storm flap) located in front of zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. A self-fabric tab has been attached to zipper pull-tab, making it easy to open and close when riding a motorcycle or wearing gloves (or both). Buttons are Mil Specs Urea.
Collar : Accented with fur sherpa panel collar with backing jungle cloth canvas to maintain collar shape and help keep collar up when the need arises. The left side collar has a throat latch (neck strap, chin strap, throat tab). And one concealed buttons under the right collar allow the throat latch to be buttoned across the neck. This throat latch is used for in foul weather to provide added protection to the lower part of the face with the collar-upturned. You can also hide a throat latch with throat tab keeper button underneath left collar, when you do not use a throat tab.
Cuff type : The sleeve openings are lined with a inset rib to protect from the cold wind. Wool-knit cuffs hidden up inside the sleeve openings. Knit parts : Special Wool Recessed Wristlet.
Pocket : Two external single welt slanted hand-warmer pockets on the waist.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
