This short-sleeve resort collar button-up shirt is made in Japan by Studio D'artisan. The fabric is crafted using traditional Japanese natural plant dyeing techniques. Inspired by the changing colors of the twilight sky, known as "Tasogare" in Japanese, the shirt features a horizontal gradient-effect stripe. It is made of 100% cotton very heavy jacquard weave fabric. The base fabric includes yarns interwoven with traditional Japanese natural plant dyes: madder for red, charcoal for gray, and indigo for navy, creating the changing colors of the evening sky. Inspired by ancient Japanese aesthetics and the beauty of nature, this shirt features earth-toned colors. The base fabric is interwoven with natural plant-dyed yarns, making it super heavyweight with a firm and sturdy texture. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a fashionable vintage look and appearance. This shirt features a front button closure, short sleeves, a looped resort collar, a single chest patch pocket, and a straight hemline. This shirt is offered in US/EU sizes and has a square silhouette that provides a regular fit - not too slim, not too loose - with a shorter length. Studio D'artisan has given this shirt a more modern cut for a fashionable casual look compared to vintage examples. Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
