This denim jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this jacket is a reproduction of the iconic levi's vintage clothing first edition type I jackets during world war II. During World War II, the US federal government controlled the conservation of raw materials. And the design of jacket was changed to save fabric and metal during wartime. This jacket has historic details such as WWII regulated version with 4 front donut laurel leaf unbranded buttons (normally 5), single chest pocket without pocket flap and button, exposed copper rivet. This jean jacket combines all those historical characteristics and details with a modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The fabric of this jacket is made of a 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, 13.6 Oz. mediumweight one-washed denim. This product is made for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. And this jacket is originally intended to wear as a modern-fit (Not too tight or Not loose) with short in the body length for a more fashion-forward looks. This light piece of outerwear is unlined and can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. This jacket is new original creations by Buzz Rickson from Toyo Enterprises.

Fabric Type : Fabric Type : Made of a 100% cotton, unlined, single-ply, non-stretch, pre-washed 13.6 Oz. mediumweight Japanese deep blue indigo denim fabric, which has a stiffer and crispy texture than any other normal denim jacket. It is high density and extremely durable. This jacket will keep its stiffness and crispy texture without losing its shape even through repeated washing and wear. Selvedge details can be seen along the interior placket. This jacket has been washed once. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully. .
Placket type : 4 buttons on front opening. Buttons are donut laurel leaf unbranded metal buttons. The double twisted thread chainstitch runoff which hang from the waistband. For this jacket, chainstitch runoff double twisted threads are seen at the point where the waistband meet the front placket. This detail can be seen on rare vintage workwear.
Storage : Single chest pocket without flap and button at wearer's left. A exposed copper rivet on the upper pocket corners for reinforcement.
Collar : Small-sized collar. Shirt-style turn-down point collar.
Cuff type : Single button cuff with sleeve placket. Cuff slit with riveted reinforcement.
Back of the jacket : Side pleated back vents to allow for maximum movement and comfort. The rear side pleats on the back (just below the back yoke, out towards the ends of the shoulders) to allow for maximum movement and comfort.

Exposed copper rivets and copper-pronged cinch back at lower back for an adjustable fit. Since this item is indigo-dyed, it's prone to crocking, or color transfer, so wear (and wash) it with dark colors till it's worn in. * This garment has gone through a unique color dyeing process. Color transfer may occur onto other surfaces. This garment will fade and change appearance over time. Body Width (Half Chest)
Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
