The construction pattern of this jean jacket is inspired by the vintage 1940's vintage work jacket/workwear with classic design, but this long sleeve denim chore coat has been re-designed with the Studio D'artisan's brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Studio D'artisan. Made of a 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, pre-washed 14 Oz. mediumweight Japanese deep blue indigo selvage denim fabric woven on the restored vintage shuttle loom, TOYODA G3, one of the oldest looms in Japan. This denim has a more slubby and neppy texture like the vintage workwear than any other normal denim woven by contemporary industrial looms. And this denim jacket is woven with rope dyed indigo yarns in the warp and beige-ish yarns in the weft, that features a unsanforized and unsinged right-hand twill construction without anti-twist process. The beige-ish weft threads will also influence the overall color of the denim fabric, giving it a slightly warmer, muted, or earthy tone compared to a fabric with white weft threads. And then these jeans are pre-washed (one-washed) in the finishing process. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And this denim chore jacket features a front closure with five metal buttons, shirt-style turn-down collar, cut-off finish with frayed texture on the top area of the front placket for a vintage look, classic style four front exterior pockets, single button cuff with curved double-needle stitching and two back panels with a center seam. Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
