This pullover denim parka is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson (Buzz Rickson's Buzz Ricksons) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of this pull-over denim hooded jacket is a reproduction of the iconic USN denim anti-gas parka (U.S. Navy denim gas protective parka gunner smock). Designed as a combination protective outfit developed by the US Navy specifically for use with the Navy Series gas masks. This pull over jean jacket with hood combines all those historical characteristics and details with a modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. Made of a 100% cotton lightweight unlined, single-ply deep-blue indigo denim fabric with a hairy fibers on the surface for a vintage look. And this Buzz Rickson USN gas protective parka features a pull-over with a half triple-layered button-up closure, drawstring cord around the hood and inside bottom, two straps on either side of the hood and two external patch pockets with flapskangaroo pocket. Fabric : Made of a 100% cotton lightweight unlined, single-ply deep-blue indigo denim fabric with a hairy fibers on the surface for a vintage look. Normally, denim fabric is processed by singeing (gassing) to remove the hairy fibers on the surface. However in this denim, by daring not to process the singeing, the surface of the denim remain hairy fibers, giving the denim a vintage look. This denim deliver the perfect combination of durability and natural softness for comfort. This parka has been washed once for the fashionable vintage feel and look. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the more you wear, the more denim will fade beautifully.
Closure : Pull on closure. Pull-over with a half button-up closure. The half-placket with an intricate button closure is triple-layered to protect against gas.
Hood : Non-removable integrated hood with button-up high collar. Fixed hood with draw cord that forms part of the parka. Drawstring cord around the hood is for securing the gas mask when worn. The hood could be down tight against the mask with a drawstring. Two straps on either side of the hood for retaining the gas mask hoses. The sides of the hood has web straps for tying the gas mask hoses secure and preventing them from protruding out.
Storage : Two external patch pockets with flaps on the lower front section of the parka.

Shoulder Width
