This jacket is constructed with a nylon twill outer shell and quilted nylon twill lining, featuring 100% polyester pile padding sandwiched between them. It also includes 100% acrylic rib-knit cuffs that are hidden inside of the sleeve openings, a hood lined with 100% polyester synthetic fur, and removable faux fur trim along the edge of the hood made from a synthetic fiber blend. This jacket features a zipper closure with an inner storm flap, a storm flap with button and loop closure in front of the zipper to cover it, a drawstring hood lined with faux fur and equipped with adjustable hood straps, removable faux fur trim along the hood edges, raglan sleeves, four front pockets (two snap-button hand warmer pockets and two snap-button flap pockets), a utility pocket on the left sleeve, one interior pocket, an interior drawcord at the waist for a better fit, reinforced elbow patches, and inset rib-knit cuffs attached to the inside of the sleeve openings. Outer shell : Made of 100% nylon twill. It is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. This fabric has a soft touch and deep hue with beautiful sheen.

Lining shell : 100% nylon quilted lining. The lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.

Interlining (Type of insulation) : Inside padding. 100% polyester fiber fill sandwiched between the outer shell and lining shell. Suitable for fall and winter seasons.

Hood type : Snorkel hood has adjustable draw cord with leather cord stopper and take-up strap. Take-up strap (buckled hood adjuster, strap and buckle ) on hood top to add or decrease hood length in relation to face. A hood is lined with 100% polyester synthetic fur (faux fur, fake fur). The fur attached to the edge of the hood is made of faux fur consisting of 82% acrylic, 13% modacrylic, and 5% polyester. This faux fur is detachable, secured with snap buttons and a loop-and-button system. Synthetic fur is designed to mimic the look of regular mouton fur. Faux versions are easier to clean and maintain.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure with storm flap protectors (wind flap protectors). Storm flap protectors (wind flap protectors) located both behind and in front of zipper closure. This jacket has an internal storm flap protector (wind flap protector) located behind of zipper closure, and then the zipper closure is covered with an external storm flap panel located in front of zipper closure that fastens with loops across the zipper closure. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. The zipper runs up to the lower part of the hood to provide added protection to the neck from the cold. Leather pull tab on zipper designed for easy functioning with gloves.

Storage : Two exterior 2 snap-down-closure upper-set hand-warmer pockets lined with cotton poplin fabric. Two exterior snap-down-closure lower-set flap pockets. Lower-set flap pockets has leather arrowhead reinforcement on pocket edges for durability. One exterior zippered cigarette pocket outfitted with four pen/pencil slots (utility pocket) on left sleeve with signature red "Remove Before Flight" flag. One interior open-top patch pocket.

Other details : Reinforced elbow patches, reinforced elbow area with second layer of self-fabric. Drawstring cords at jacket inside waist to adjust the fit and to seal out the wind. The two-ply 100% acrylic knit ribbed cuffs to keep winds from entering sleeves, which are located up inside the sleeves to preclude knit from getting snags. Acrylic-knit cuffs hidden up inside the sleeves. The sleeve openings are lined with a inset rib to protect from the cold wind.
