This long-sleeved button-up shirt is crafted in Japan by Sugar Cane Fiction Romance Collection from Toyo Enterprises. The shirt is made of 6.9 oz indigo-dyed kasuri fabric inspired by old Japanese cloth from the early Showa period, and its shirt design is modeled after classic American long-sleeved work shirts of the 1950s. This shirt is a unique and attractive casual item that blends Japanese tradition style with American vintage style. By combining Kasuri fabric with the American classic work shirt style, this shirt captures both the aesthetic beauty of American vintage and the unique artistry of Japanese. Fabric : Made of a 100% cotton, unlined, single-ply, medium-weight 6.9-ounce Kasuri cloth fabric. The fabric is densely woven and has a sturdy texture. Kasuri is a traditional Japanese fabric known for its distinctive blurred appearance, which is created through a resist-dyeing technique. For this shirt, the fabric is woven on an old loom using two colors of yarn, ecru and green, unevenly dyed in indigo, which is used irregularly for both the warp and weft yarns. First, ecru and green yarns are unevenly dyed with indigo to create yarns with dyed and un-dyed portions. These yarns are used irregularly in the warp and weft and woven on an old loom. Through this process, the indigo-dyed and undyed ecru and green shades are eclectically mixed to create a streaky blurry cross-hatch pattern. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a fashionable vintage look and appearance.
Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. Buttons are cat's eye-shaped brown mother-of-pearl buttons.
Collar Type : Regular collar with collar band for crisper appearance.
Bottom hem type : The hem has a curved round tail.
Pocket : Classically-styled two chest flap pockets with button closure. The upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength. The flap on the left chest pocket has a hole designed for a pen slot.
Yoke type : Slightly Curved back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
Back of the Shirt : No pleats for easy ironing and clean lines.
Cuffs Type : Single button cuffs with sleeve placket (cuff slit). The shirt has a cuff slit, making it easy to put on and take off. The sleeve plackets are finished with a piping construction, resulting in superior durability as the plackets are crafted from a continuous one-piece design.

Other details : Key areas are triple-stitching and rolled seams for superior strength. Since this shirt is partially made of indigo dyed yarn, it's prone to crocking, or color transfer, so wear (and wash) it with dark colors till it's worn in.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
