This Buzz Rickson's Deck Jacket is a faithful reproduction of the early model navy-blue colored Deck Zip Jacket (NAVY DEPARTMENT CONTRACT 87533) issued by the U.S. Navy from World War II through the Korean War. This jacket combines historical accuracy and classic vintage aesthetics with modern craftsmanship for a brand-new quality. This jacket is constructed with a multi-layer design for superior warmth and durability. The outer shell is made from heavy-duty 100% cotton corded-cotton jungle cloth canvas, also known as cotton grosgrain fabric, providing excellent strength and durability. Inside, the jacket is lined with a blend of 90% wool and 10% nylon blanket fabric in both the body and sleeves, ensuring exceptional warmth in cold weather. Additionally, a thin fabric called organza is sewn into the inside of the inner lining, designed for wind resistance and water protection. This jacket features a front zip closure, a two-ply wool-knit stand collar, two-ply wool-knit cuffs, and a two-ply wool-knit waistband for added warmth. It also has two external D-style handwarmer pockets and underarm eyelets to help release moisture and humidity. A "U.S. NAVY" stencil is printed on the back, adding to its authentic military style. This jacket is available in US/EU sizes and offers extra room in the chest to allow for thick layers underneath. Its slightly shorter length and cropped look give it a boxy silhouette. Outer shell: Heavyweight corded-cotton jungle cloth (cotton grosgrain) fabric. Made of 100% cotton jungle cloth canvas (cotton grosgrain) to precisely match USN specs that is heavy duty, high density and extremely durable. Grosgrain is a tightly woven fabric with the grain of the twill line running vertically on the face of the fabric like a bedford cord. This densely woven fabric also has a luxurious matte subtle luster to it. *This jacket has some white marks/spots/streaks on fabric. This isn't an error. Please note that this is a process to create a vintage feel and look.
Lining shell for body and sleeves: Lined with a blend of 90% wool and 10% nylon blanket fabric for exceptional warmth and comfort.
Types of garment closure (Placket type): Features a durable front zip closure for a secure fit. Leather pull tab on zipper for easy functioning with gloves.
Collar: Two-ply wool-knit stand collar designed to provide extra warmth and protection against cold weather.
Cuff / Collar / Hem : The two-ply wool knit ribbed collar, sleeve ends and waistband are comfortable and flexible. The two-ply knit rib cuffs with the narrow weave graduating into the wider weave at top.

Lay the clothing flat and measure 3 cm under the armhole. Measure from side to side
Body Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from base of collar seam (excluding collar) down to the end of the hem
Sleeve Length
Lay the clothing flat and measure from center back of base of collar seam to the end of the cuff
Shoulder Width
Lay the clothing flat and measure shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Lay Jeans/Pants flat, face up and do not stretch or pull fabric.
Waist
Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.
