Herringbone fabric is a type of textile with a distinctive V-shaped weaving pattern, similar to the bones of a herring fish. It is renowned for its durability and stylish appearance. This type of densely woven fabric, originally developed for military garments, is prone to developing white, streak-like marks - commonly referred to as "white marks" - due to friction or creasing. These markings may also be visible on this product. Please note that they are not defects, but rather a natural characteristic of the fabric's construction and surface texture.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Front button closure. A classic full-button closure along the front, secured with six buttons. Buttons are 2-holes urea buttons. The front placket includes vertical buttonholes.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand (collar band).

Bottom hem type : Rounded shirttails with side gussets. Curved hem (shirt tail). Side gussets on the hem, and double twisted thread-runnoffs that extend and hang from the side seams on the hem. A gusset is a piece of fabric which adds durability to a section of a garment. For this shirt, gussets are seen at the point where the side seams meet the hem. The chainstitch runoff extending (double twisted threads which hang from the side seam on hem). This detail can be seen on rare vintage shirts as well as modern reproductions.
