This men's casual denim jacket is made in Japan and designed and crafted by Studio D'artisan (SDA Studio Dartisan). While inspired by a classic 1953 Type II Jacket design, it incorporate Studio D'artisan's signature denim fabric, creating a distinctive and unique aesthetic. Seamlessly blending nostalgic charm with Studio D'artisan's exceptional craftsmanship, this jean jacket offer a timeless design, premium-quality materials, contemporary durability, and a casually stylish look. This jacket is made from a non-stretch, 16-ounce, 100% cotton slub denim. In the weaving process, the warp yarn combines thick slub yarn and nep yarn of varying thickness, while the weft yarn uses an even thicker super slub yarn. As for dyeing, the warp yarn is meticulously hand-dyed by skilled artisans using the traditional Japanese technique known as indigo skein dyeing, while the weft yarn remains undyed. Woven on a power loom, this combination creates a uniquely textured, bluish-toned denim that is uneven, rugged, slubby, and rich in nep. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and enhance comfort. This Studio D'artisan denim jacket features a front closure with five antique-finished metal buttons engraved with the brand logo, a front and back yoke, stitched-down double pleats on the front, a pointed fold-down collar, twin flap chest pockets with button closures, rear side pleats for easy movement, single button cuffs with rivet-reinforced cuff slits, and buttoned tabs on both sides of the back hem. This jacket is available in US/EU sizes and offers a regular fit (not too slim, not too loose) with a shorter length. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and enhance comfort. The selvedge detail is featured on the inside of the placket and the inside of the collar. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear. And the more you wear, the more fabric will fade beautifully.
